Pediatric RN
Location
- Fort Wayne, Indiana
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of pediatric experience
- BLS through AHA
- PALS through AHA
- Compact or Indiana RN license
- EPIC experience
- Experience in a 400+ bed facility with L2 trauma acuity
Preferred
- IV skills
Unit Details
- Pediatric unit with 28 beds
- May float to PICU as helping hands
Schedule
- 3 x 12-hour day shifts per week
- 36 hours per week
Patient Population
- Care for pediatric patients from 3 days to 18 years old
- Includes common childhood illness, COVID+ patients, trauma, respiratory, RSV, general surgical, birth defects, and more complex surgical cases
Additional Notes
- Caribbean blue scrubs
- 24 hours of floor orientation with a preceptor
- EPIC and Pyxis are used in the unit
