Overview

• 13-week travel assignment in Nampa, Idaho
• 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a
• Unit: Intensive Care Unit Nampa Hospital Flr 1
• 10-bed ICU
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2

Required Qualifications

• RN license
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• 1 year of ICU experience
• Must be a good team player
• Able to titrate drips
• First-time travelers accepted

Unit Details

• Common patient types include heart failure, respiratory failure, sepsis, vented patients, GI bleeds, strokes, TPA, post codes, pneumonia, and post-surgical patients if something goes wrong
• CRRT patients are not taken
• Charge nurse does not take patients
• CNA support: 1 per shift
• Hospitalist on site 24/7
• Intensivist available via telehealth 24/7
• RTs in the ICU 24/7
• RT equipment includes vents, high flow, and BiPAP
• No tele techs; RNs are required to read strips
• Shifts may be blocked or grouped together
• Weekend coverage as needed
• Holiday coverage if needed
• No call or standby requirement
• Floating may include Tele, Meridian ICU, and Boise ICU
• 1 to 2 shifts of unit orientation depending on experience
• Scrub color: any color as long as clean and professional
