Registered Nurse — Emergency / Observation Unit
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Arizona
- Float between the Emergency Department and the CDU/Observation Unit
- Day shift: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- 36 hours per week
- Orientation starts every Monday
- Every other weekend and holidays are included
- Blocked scheduling is not guaranteed
- Ratio: 1:4
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arizona
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- CDU - Clinical Decision Unit experience
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- TNCC
Preferred
- Meditech experience preferred
- ESI preferred
Assignment Notes
- Initially assigned to the CDU until 9/20, then may be assigned to either the ED or CDU
