Med Surg Neuro RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Decatur, Illinois
- Day shift: 3x12s, 6:30–18:00
- 36 hours per week
- Average daily census: 32
- First-timers not accepted
- Every other weekend required
- Will float as needed
- Locals accepted with no radius
- RTO ideally no more than 5 days
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Med Surg (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Colostomy care experience
- Feeding tube care and management experience
- Accessing ports experience
- Blood product administration experience
- Central line blood draw experience
- Peripheral line care and management experience
- PICC line management experience
- Starting IVs experience
- Heparin medication experience
- PCA medication experience
- Experience with Cerner
Preferred Qualifications
- Teaching Hospital Experience
- Trauma Level II Experience
