7NE Medsurg/Ortho RN

Location

• Morgantown, West Virginia

Assignment Details

• 13-week contract
• Nights, 12-hour shifts
• 48 hours per week
• Unit: 7NE - Ortho/Tele
• 22 total beds
• Patient ratio: 1:5-6
• Floating may include 7E, 7W, 10W, and 10E

Required Qualifications

• BLS
• Strong ortho experience
• Total Joint Replacement experience, not just fractures
• RN license
• COVID vaccination required

Schedule Requirements

• Every other weekend or 2 weekend shifts per schedule
• Travelers are expected to work into the holiday rotation

Unit Notes

• Tele is present on the unit, but RNs do not have to read strips
• 3 CNAs per shift, ratio 1:7-8
• Charge Nurse available 24/7
• RT support/equipment available as needed
• Unit orientation is 1-2 shifts on the unit

Submission Requirements

• Can only submit to 1 position at a time across the entire WVU system
• Driver’s license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility
• Previous perm candidates must be gone for 2 years
• Previous travelers there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years
• Travel teams must be submitted together in 1 email
• Up to 2 candidates may be submitted per opening
• An unexpired copy of the candidate’s driver’s license must be included with submission
