M/S Tele RN
Overview
- Role: M/S Tele RN
- Schedule: Nights and every other weekend
- Hours: 36 hours
- Shift: 19:00 - 07:30
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Unit
- Unit Name: Phippen 6/7
- Unit Description: 32-bed Ortho/Neuro Med/Surg unit that also takes medical overflow
- Bed Count: 32 beds total, split between Phippen 6 and Phippen 7
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- 2 years or more of total travel experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS
Floating
- Travelers are required to float to applicable units when requested
Patient Population
- Scheduled elective Orthopedic and Neuro/Surg patients
- Fractures
- Neuro patients
- Medical overflow patients
Additional Notes
- Day rotators may be rotated between 7a-7p, 11a-11p, or 7p-7a when needed
- Night positions do not rotate
- EMR: EPIC
