Description
RN Telemetry I
Overview
- Float pool Med/Surg Tele RN role
- Must be willing to float to 8 different units
- Schedule: days/eves/nights, rotate, every other weekend
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Unit / Float Scope
- Float throughout the hospital to Med/Surg Tele areas
- Float scope includes: Davenport 5, Davenport 7, Davenport 8, Davenport 9, ED, PH6/7, Pingree 4, and Overflow
- Unit name: Float Pool RN
- Bed count: 371
- Units range from 8 to 41 beds
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
- 2 years or more of total travel experience
- Float experience
- Experience with cardiac or critical care drips
- Telemetry monitoring including measuring intervals and interpreting strips
- TR Band experience
Preferred
- 2 years experience
- ACLS
