Required Qualifications

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• PALS (AHA)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC
• Wisconsin state RN license
• Cannot take CRT

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous traveler experience

Clinical Setting

• Mainly adults, with minimal peds and neonates
• Covers inpatient, ER, ICU, MS floors, and facility emergencies in the clinic
• RT may be asked to cover high-risk deliveries very infrequently

Experience / Skills

• Vents
• Bipap
• Basic RT treatments
• EKGs
• Intubation assist
• Assist with intubation; may insert king airways in emergency situations before provider arrival

Duties

• Basic therapies
• ABGs
• EKGs
• Bipaps/cpaps
• Ventilators, including intubation weaning and extubation
• Charge verification
• Timely and proper charting in Cerner

Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts
• Shift times: 0600-1800 and 1800-0600, with variable shifts on rare occasions
• Rotating weekends, about every 3rd weekend
• Holiday coverage: 2 of 3 winter holidays, then every other holiday otherwise

Additional Notes

• 2 RTs typically work per shift
• Dark green scrubs
• All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility
• If the clinician has ever worked for Marshfield, there must be an end date at least 6 months before submission
• Local candidates within 80 miles are subject to reduced client rates
