Overview

Temp position in University Parkway Aiken, South Carolina
12-week contract
12 HR Mid Shift
36 hours per week
Must live 50 miles away
3 x 12s days

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
NIHSS
CPI
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Experience with CRRT
Experience with ECMO
Experience with Impella
Experience with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
Experience with ventilator management
Experience with arterial lines
Experience with central line management
Experience with PICC lines
Experience with pulmonary artery (PA) catheters
Experience with Cerner

Preferred Qualifications

Unit Details

ICU is a multidisciplinary unit caring for neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients
Technology used includes ventilators, ventriculostomies, cardiac monitors, pulmonary artery catheters, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, IABP, ECMO/tandem heart, Impella, BIS monitors, continuous pulse oximetry, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), gastric tubes, and intravenous infusion pumps
