RN Surgery Circulator

Overview

• Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
• Shift: 06:30 - 19:00
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Summary

• Provides direct nursing care.
• Implements and monitors patient care plans.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oklahoma.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience).
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• Ascension Skills Checklist completed within one year of start and updated annually for specialty.

Onboarding / Compliance Requirements

• Ascension Pharmacology Exam: minimum 80% score; completed prior to start and updated every 3 years.
• Ascension Specialty Exam: completed prior to first assignment and updated every 3 years; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score.
• Ascension Color Vision: completed prior to start and updated every 3 years.
• Ascension Core Competencies: completed within a year of start and updated every 3 years; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score.
