Description

Cardiac Cath Lab Technician

Overview

Temp assignment in McAllen, Texas
8 HR Day Shift
40 hours per week
Must live 50 miles away

Schedule

7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday
Call averages once a week, Monday-Thursday, and one weekend a month: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Role Summary

Works in a multidisciplinary cath lab supporting patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing or interventional procedures
Performs scrub and monitoring duties and must be able to scrub/pan procedures for peripheral and diagnostic studies
Facility performs structural heart, diagnostic and therapeutic coronary, and peripheral procedures

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Texas
Cath Lab Technologist (2 years of experience)
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
BLS and ACLS
RCIS or RAD
Bachelor's degree or Associate degree in a related field
Electrophysiology Technician experience

Preferred

Experience in other specialties is a plus
