Ultrasound Sonographer

Assignment Details

• 13-week contract
• Day shift
• 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
• 3 ultrasound scanners/rooms
• No floating to other areas
• EOW
• May be asked to participate in holiday rotation
• No call or standby
• Department orientation: 5 shifts with a preceptor

Required Qualifications

• BLS
• WV License
• WV CARES required prior to start
• ARDMS and/or RVT
• OB and Arterial Extremity doppler experience
• Must be able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
• First-time travelers accepted

Clinical Responsibilities

• General US
• OB
• Small parts
• Vascular US, including upper and lower venous and arterial studies
• Starts IVs

Additional Notes

• Uses EMR-Community Works and PACS-Intellirad/Intelliconnect
• Siemens S2000 equipment
• Clean, professional scrubs of any color are allowed
• 50-mile radius rule applies
