Contract Length

Schedule

• Nights
• 12-hour shifts
• Common shift options listed: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Every other to every third weekend
• Holiday requirement: 2 of 3 winter holidays and every other holiday otherwise

Unit Details

• 10 private rooms
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5
• Common diagnoses include stroke, trauma, ortho, neuro, and a variety of disabilities
• Average stay: 10–14 days

Required Qualifications

• BLS (AHA)
• Rehab experience required for first-time travelers
• Prior travel experience is required if coming from a Med Surg background and no rehab experience is stated
• Must be able to clock in and out at the facility
• Must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission if previously worked for Marshfield

Preferred / Helpful Experience

• MS nurse background is acceptable if prior travel experience is present
• First-time travelers are acceptable if they have rehab experience

Responsibilities / Unit Expectations

• RN attends team conferences for acute inpatient rehab
• RN may take charge assignments
• RN performs nebulizers and inhalers
• RN may remove CPAP/BiPAP at night after RT setup

Float Scope

• May float to med surg tele units

Additional Notes

• No call or standby
• CNAs are available days and evenings; no CNA from 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Travelers can be charge nurses
• Any color scrubs, clean and professional
• 2 twelve-hour orientation shifts
