Nursing Home Registered Nurse

Overview

Contract role in Mauston, Wisconsin
13-week assignment
Weekend PM shift, 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Long Term Care experience within the last year
1 year of Long Term Care experience
BLS

Preferred Qualifications

Four-year degree in nursing
1+ years of related work experience

Key Responsibilities

Communicate significant resident condition changes to physicians, families, and others
Complete resident assessments
Administer medications using the 5 Rights
Perform wound care and assessments as needed
Assist CNAs with answering call lights
Monitor residents for changes in condition
Lead on the floor by assessing and directing situations as needed
Report allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator
Maintain accurate resident records and charting
