IMC/Tele RN

Overview

• 13-week contract
• Location: Weston, Wisconsin
• Department: PCU RN
• Unit has 30 beds
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours (7p-7a)
• Schedule includes Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday nights
• Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Call or standby is required
• Floating may be required to MS or IMC overflow in ICU
• Scrub color: Navy blue
• Unit orientation: up to 3 days

Required Qualifications

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)
• EKG Course
• RN license
• Must be able to manage IV nitro, heparin, diltazem, and amio
• Must be able to titrate drips
• Must clock in and out at the facility

Preferred

• Post cath lab experience
• Art line experience

Unit Details

• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1-4, may stretch to 5 if sick call or added CNA support
• Common patient types include cardiac, nstemi, post cath lab, afib, chf, GI bleed, detox, resp distress, and sepsis
• Charge RN takes 2 patients
• Nurse aids are available, with ratios of 1-10/12 depending on census
• RT equipment includes Cpap, bipap, and optiflow
• Tele techs are present and read the strips; GE is the monitor

Additional Notes

• Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility are considered local rate
• If the clinician has ever worked for Marshfield, they must have an end date 6 months prior to submission
