*** IV Therapy RN 36hrs. Nights *** Shift: 1x12 7:00pm-7:30am; & 3x8's 11:00pm-7:30am.Unit Name: IV
Therapy.Brief Unit Description: All IV Therapy Registered RN's must be able
to achieve and maintain the required core IV Therapy skills/competencies for
the department, which are: a) Peripheral IV insertion; b) CVAD dressing change.; c) Non-tunneled CVAD removal; d) Reconstitution, instillation and removal of thrombolytic; e) Access/ de-access implanted ports; f) Repositioning a peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC); g) Ultrasound Guided IV lines.
Years of Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of experience working
in IV/Venous Access team.Skill
Sets Required: IV
insertion, Ultrasound Guided IVs, Picc line insertion.Education Required: BSN Preferred.Patient

Required: Active MA
RN License. AHA BLS.
