Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cardiology and radiology, focusing on catheterization procedures.

Responsibilities

• Scrub for heart caths and device implants
• Maintain sterile fields during procedures
• Perform accurate monitoring and EKG lead placements
• Assist as a room circulator
• Conduct various procedures including angioplasty, stent placements, and cardiac catheterizations
• Handle advanced devices such as IABP and Impella
• Monitor hemodynamics and perform right heart catheterizations
• Participate in patient evaluations and optimize care delivery

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and either RCIS, RCES, or ARRT CV
• Experience with GE Discovery systems is preferred
• Ability to scrub and circulate during procedures
• Experience with a wide range of vascular and cardiac interventions
• Diverse procedural skills including IV starts, phlebotomy, and patient vitals monitoring

Work Environment

• Daily caseload of 5-10 patients
• Experience required in diagnostic cath, PCI, and related cardiac procedures
• Working in a 3-room lab setting
• Engagement with adult and geriatric patient populations

Additional Information

• Float within department is required
• Call duties may be assigned
• Pre-approved time off is limited
• Orientation hours will be provided if required
