Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing, with an emphasis on teamwork and patient-centered care.
Shift Information
The position requires night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, including weekends as needed. Flexibility to float between ICUs and Progressive Care Units (PCU) is expected.
Unit Information
- Combination unit with 16 ICU beds and 14 PCU beds
- Nurse to patient ratios: ICU 1:1-2, PCU 1:3
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, critical environment.
- Titrate medication drips as needed, including standard ICU drips, sedatives, and vasoactive medications.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RT and Intensivist, who are available 24/7.
- Utilize EPIC for documentation and patient management.
- Contribute to a culture of teamwork and support for colleagues and patients.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience preferred.
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required.
- Experience with Targeted Temperature Management (TTM) utilizing Thermaguard/Zoll cooling is mandatory.
- Previous travel nursing experience required.
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips is essential.

- Role includes patient care responsibilities along with charge nurse support without an assignment.
- CNA support available with a 1:8 ratio.
