Description

ICU Registered Nurse

Location

  • Twin Falls, Idaho

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Shift

  • 12-hour nights

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • 1 year of experience
  • Previous travel experience
  • Experience with TTM cooling using Thermoguard/Zoll
  • EPIC experience

Unit Details

  • ICU and PCU combination unit
  • ICU nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:1-2
  • PCU nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:3
  • Charge nurse does not take an assignment
  • CNA support available
  • Tele tech support available
  • Intensivist in house 7 days a week
  • Hospitalist in house 24/7
  • RT in ICU 24/7

Responsibilities

  • Titrate drips
  • Read and interpret telemetry strips
  • Float between ICU and PCU patients within the unit

Schedule

  • Usually every other weekend
  • Holidays as needed
  • No call or standby
  • Block scheduling may be considered if it meets unit needs

Dress Code

  • Navy blue scrubs

Orientation

  • 2 shifts on the unit
