Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist with certification in hand therapy to join our team. This role involves providing specialized care to clients with hand and upper extremity conditions, utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance functional recovery and improve quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at maximizing patients’ functional abilities
- Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and rehabilitation strategies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment responses
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure in Washington as an Occupational Therapist
- Certification as a Hand Therapist (CHT) required
- Strong understanding of upper extremity anatomy and rehabilitation techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle multiple priorities
