Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a Home Health position requiring at least 1 year of recent skilled OT experience and proficiency with OASIS and HCHB documentation systems.
Details
- Home health setting serving adult patients
- Day shift, 5x8 hour schedule (8:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
- Caseload of 4-5 patients per day, up to 6 patient visits daily
- No weekend requirement
- No on-call requirement
- OASIS and HCHB charting systems used
- Occasional travel radius of up to 100 miles due to territory coverage
Requirements
- Current WA state OT license or compact license required (license required if applicable)
- BLS certification required
- NBCOT certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of recent skilled OT experience within the last 3 years (inpatient experience not accepted)
- OASIS experience required
- Proficiency in HCHB (Homecare Homebase) required
- Must have personal transportation and an active driver's license
Additional Information
- Travelers are expected to provide timely communication and documentation
- System groups clients to minimize drive and windshield time
- Documentation tools will be provided and must be returned at end of assignment
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates accepted
- Travel pairs accepted, with each traveler assigned to their own territory and required to have their own transportation
- Former employees must be separated for a minimum of 6 months and approved by HR before returning as a traveler
- Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application
