Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift Details

This position offers a 12-hour shift schedule: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday, with every other weekend and some holidays required.

Unit Information

The role involves working within the following units:

D6/5 IMC Acute Med/Progressive Care Unit
B4/3 IMC Thoracic Unit

Job Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a telemetry setting, specifically focusing on oncology, cardiac, and progressive care unit (PCU) environments. Essential duties include:

Monitoring and managing patients on telemetry.
Administering medication and treatments as prescribed.
Working with ventilated patients and those requiring transplant care.
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

Valid Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact RN license is required.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA are required.
Telemetry oncology, cardiac, and progressive care unit (PCU) experience is necessary.
Experience with ventilated patients and transplant procedures is mandatory.

Additional Information

Candidates will be required to pass a telemetry test prior to starting the position.
