Location

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Shift

• Nights, 12-hour shifts

Schedule

• Self-scheduling with manager balancing
• Every other weekend
• Holiday coverage required
• No call

Required Qualifications

• Active BLS and NIHSS certifications
• 2 years of Med Surg, PCU, or ICU experience
• Experience in the specialty within the last 1 year
• Drip titration experience
• Must be open to learning vents
• Open to first-time travelers

Preferred Experience

• Trach and vent experience
• Home trach vent experience

Unit Details

• 28-bed unit
• Typical nurse-to-patient ratios: days 1:4-5; nights 1:5-6
• Neuro-focused patient population with trauma/ortho cases
• Central monitor located off the unit
• Nurse aides on the unit

Responsibilities

• Titrate drips
• Float to sister Med Surg units

Orientation

• 1 shift of general orientation
• 1 shift with a preceptor

Additional Notes

• Solid-color scrubs required
• Must clock in and out at the facility
• Candidates within 80 miles are considered local
• Previous employment with this facility must have ended at least 6 months before submission
