Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Registered Nurse with a specialization in Geriatric Psychology to provide exceptional care during day shifts. This role requires a compassionate professional skilled in managing and supporting patients with behavioral health needs in a short-term acute care hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement milieu management strategies to foster a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Administer medication management and monitor patient responses.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with nursing standards and protocols.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Ohio or Compact Nursing License at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 12 months of permanent behavioral health experience within a short-term acute care hospital.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and communicate with patients and families.

Shift and Schedule

This position is for day shifts, specifically 3 shifts totaling 12 hours each, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
