We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality CT scans and managing various responsibilities within the department.

Position Information

• Role: CT Technologist
• Department: CT Scan
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Shift: Variable (4x9s or 3x12s)
• Weekend Hours: As needed
• Call Requirements: Occasional standby requirements

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced Certification, Maine License
• Years of Experience: 1-2 years
• MUST HAVE: Experience with GE equipment, particularly the GE Optima 660 and GE Revolution.
• RTO: 7 days MAX
• Travel: Out of state travelers only

Unit Information

• Patient Ratios: 74 Daily Caseload
• Equipment: GE
• EHR: Epic

Patient Population

• Adult patients with a focus on general CT imaging

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans for various diagnostic purposes including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administer contrast materials as needed and assist with biopsies and aspirations.
• Collaborate with the radiology team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Additional Skills and Experience

• Must Have Skills: Experience in inpatient settings, ER, Community Hospital, Adult ICU, IV Starts, CTAs, Multiplanar Reconstruction.
• Preferred Skills: Experience in outpatient settings, PACS, CT Arthrography, Drainage, Myelography, familiarity with Epic systems.
• Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Cancer, trauma, PE, stroke, and other conditions as determined by the surrounding healthcare environment.
