Position Overview

This is an opportunity for a Registered Nurse specializing in Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) environments. The assignment is for 13 weeks with a possible extension, focusing on night shifts with minimal to no request for time off.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in an IMCU setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, including vital signs and critical drips.
• Perform laboratory draws and sample collections.
• Start IVs and maintain IV therapy.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of recent critical care and ICU experience required.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Certifications required: BLS and ACLS.
• Skills required:
  • Intermediate floor management experience.
  • Experience in titrating critical drips.
• Candidates must be willing to work nights, including some weekends and holidays.
• Royal Blue scrubs are required (not provided).

Additional Information

Candidates who reside within 30 miles of the facility will not be considered. Candidates living 31-50 miles away may have a reduction in pay rate.
