Unit Details
This unit provides care for patients with diverse diagnoses including but not limited to:
- Hypertension (HTN)
- Diabetes
- Congestive Heart Failure
- End Stage Renal Disease
- Coronary Artery Disease
- Abdominal Pain
- STEMI/NSTEMI
- Pulmonary Embolism
- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
- Behavioral Health Issues
Work Schedule
Position requires night shifts, specifically 3 shifts of 12 hours each (from 18:00 to 06:00). Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend.
On-Call and Floating
There is no on-call requirement. Travelers may be asked to float within the facility as needed, within their scope of practice.
Minimum Experience
A minimum of 2 years of experience is required. The unit is open to first-time travelers.
Time Off Requests (RTO)
The maximum allowable RTO is 7 days. It is important to comply with RTO guidelines for scheduling.
Holidays
Travelers may be required to work during major holidays. If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two holidays fall during the assignment, both are to be worked. For three holidays, the traveler is expected to work two.

Compliance Requirements
Full compliance is required to start on time. If compliance requirements are not met, the start date may be pushed back by two weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule.
Local Candidates
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers.
Orientation Hours
The number of non-billable orientation hours is determined by the contract length (e.g., 8 hours for an 8-week assignment; 10 hours for a 10-week assignment).
