Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and certified CT Technologist to join our busy Level 1 trauma and stroke center. The ideal candidate will have expertise with GE and Siemens scanning equipment and the ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans as per departmental protocols.
- Collaborate with a team of 5-6 technicians during overnight shifts.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the scanning process.
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Follow established policies, procedures, and quality assurance measures.
Qualifications
- Certified CT Technologist with current BLS and ARRT certifications.
- Proficient in operating GE and Siemens CT scanners.
- Ability to work 4 nights per week, consisting of two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Experience in a trauma center or similar fast-paced environment is preferred.
Work Schedule
This position requires working overnight shifts, totaling 40 hours per week.
