Schedule: Monday – Friday

Position Summary

The Outpatient Physical Therapist will provide care to patients in a fast-paced environment, focusing on rehabilitation post-surgery. The ideal candidate will effectively communicate with staff and design patient care plans tailored to individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage and treat post-operative patients following established protocols.
• Collaborate with two PTAs on staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Provide treatment for general orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, geriatrics, post-operative care, and patients with decreased mobility.
• Maintain clear communication with patients and their families regarding treatment plans and progress.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Therapy is required.

Licensure/Certification

Current Florida license as a Physical Therapist is required.

Experience Requirements

Experience in treating post-operative patients is mandatory and must be documented in work history.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Outpatient care experience with adult patient populations.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Interview Process

Qualified candidates will participate in an interview with the Unit Manager.

Compliance Requirements

• Florida ACHA processing may take up to 14 business days.
• No requests for time off (RTO) are allowed during the first two weeks of the assignment.
• A maximum of 8 days RTO is permitted for the 13-week contract.
