Position Summary

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography scans and ensuring patient safety during imaging procedures. This role requires collaboration with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care for patients while delivering precise diagnostics through advanced imaging techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT scans in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Monitor patients' conditions and observe safety practices throughout the imaging process.
• Maintain and operate CT equipment, ensuring it is functioning correctly and efficiently.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to discuss imaging results and contribute to patient care plans.
• Follow protocols for radiation safety and adhere to regulatory standards.
• Participate in continuous education and training to keep up-to-date with the latest imaging techniques and technologies.

Qualifications

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Valid radiologic license or certification in the state of practice.
• Extensive knowledge of CT imaging techniques and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Schedule

This position requires availability for a 36-hour work schedule, specifically on Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Working Environment

The role involves working in a fast-paced environment that prioritizes patient care and safety. The CT Technologist will interact with patients and healthcare team members frequently, requiring strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage stressful situations effectively.
