Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in the Surgical Services department. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in surgical settings and a passion for patient care. This role involves working closely with surgical teams to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety during surgical procedures.

Schedule

• Day/Evening, Monday - Friday
• 8-hour and 10-hour shifts available
• Shifts include 0640-1710, 0640-1510, and 0910-1740
• No weekends, no call, no holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the operating room and ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are available.
• Maintain a sterile environment throughout the surgical procedure.
• Provide support to the surgical team during procedures.
• Handle instruments and equipment with care and precision.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of scrub experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (AHA only).
• Successful completion of a surgical technologist program or equivalent experience in the Surgical Technologist role may be considered in lieu of program completion.

Unit Information

This position is part of the Outpatient Surgery unit, where we focus on providing excellent surgical care and support to our patients.
