Princeton Staffing Solutions is seeking a CO licensed Special Education Teacher to support a Middle School Resource Room for a School District near Falcon, CO for the 2026-2027 School Year. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Special Education professional who values collaboration, structured support, and the ability to make a measurable impact on students’ social-emotional and behavioral development. 

• School Setting: Middle School
• Classroom Type:  Resource Room
• Schedule: 34 hours per week (Monday-Thursday)
• Contract Type: W2
• Start Date: 8/4/2026
• End Date: 5/27/2027
• Work Arrangement: In Person

Special Education Teacher (SPED) – Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with students, parents, and other educators to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Assessing individual learning needs and abilities
• Developing individualized educational plans and setting learning goals
• Collaborating with teachers to adapt and modify instructional materials and teaching techniques to meet students’ needs.
• Implementing teaching strategies and techniques that are appropriate for students with a variety of learning difficulties.
• Providing one-on-one tutoring or small group instruction
• Monitoring students’ progress and adjusting instruction as needed.
• Maintaining detailed records of students’ progress and updating educational plans accordingly
• Communicating effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals about students’ progress and needs
• Providing support and guidance to mainstream teachers working with students with learning difficulties

Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in education, special education, or equivalent area. Master's degree preferred.
• Active Colorado CDE License with Special Education Endorsement
• Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher working with middle school students in a resource room environment
• Strong classroom management and experience overseeing paraprofessionals
• Experience with IEP development and compliance documentation
