Description
American Traveler is hiring a Special Education Teacher for a middle school setting, supporting students with significant support needs and mild/moderate learning needs.
Details
- Non-clinical school setting at a middle school (grades 6-8)
- Role may combine a 0.5 Significant Support Needs (SSN) Teacher position with a 0.5 Learning Specialist position
- Full-time preferred, but part-time candidates with strong skills will be considered
- Caseload includes 14 students in the SSN program plus additional Mild/Moderate students requiring support
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Requirements
- License required if applicable
- Resume required for consideration
- Must complete Colorado CBI and FBI fingerprinting for clearance as soon as contract is signed
