Description
Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Job Type: Full-Time
Overview:
We’re seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our school-based team. The ideal candidate is committed to helping students develop the fine motor, sensory, and self-regulation skills needed to thrive in the classroom and beyond. You’ll play a key role in supporting access to education through individualized, evidence-based interventions that promote independence and participation.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ motor, sensory, and functional abilities
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals and educational needs
• Provide direct and consultative services to address fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living tasks
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom
• Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to eligibility determinations, and assist in goal setting and service delivery
• Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and compliance requirements
• Support school-wide initiatives promoting motor development and sensory regulation
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• NBCOT certification preferred
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Prior school-based experience preferred but not required

IDR Job ID #478277. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 37 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
