Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH)
Full-Time | 2026–2027 School Year | School-Based
We are seeking a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) to support students with hearing impairments in a school-based setting for the upcoming school year. This role focuses on providing specialized instruction, supporting communication development, and ensuring students have access to the curriculum in collaboration with school teams.
Responsibilities include providing individualized and small-group instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, supporting language and communication development, adapting instructional materials to meet student needs, collaborating with general education teachers and special education teams, participating in IEP meetings and contributing to goal development and service planning, and maintaining required documentation and progress monitoring.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field, current state licensure or eligibility as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing, strong collaboration and communication skills, and the ability to support students across a range of communication methods. Prior school-based experience is preferred but not required.
