Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU experience for a night shift travel assignment at a nationally recognized, 600+ bed academic medical center in Virginia.

Details

  • Position is based at a 600+ bed academic medical center ranked among the top three healthcare institutions in Virginia and No. 83 in the country nationally
  • Unit covers both PICU and NICU patient populations
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Minimum 12 months of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in the applicable specialty
  • RRT credential required
  • 2 professional references at supervisor level or above required for consideration
  • License required if applicable

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Candidates must not have been employed by this health system within the previous 6 months
  • Any time-off requests must be submitted upfront; holiday time off is not guaranteed
  • This is a drug- and tobacco-free workplace; smoking is not permitted on campus
  • Facility enforces a natural nail policy

Endoscopy unit is a well run, well oiled machine. Staff is very professional and management on point! It was my favorite travel job so far!

Cons

The fact that you need to walk through metal detectors, but it’s for everyone’s safety!
