Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of licensed clinical experience and a GA State Board license for an acute care hospital assignment.

Responsibilities

Position is based in an acute care hospital physical therapy department
Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, 8-hour day shifts
Schedule includes 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period and 1 summer holiday
13-week contract assignment
No on-call requirements
Returning perm staff reapplying as travelers must have a 2-year gap before consideration
Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
RTO (Requested Time Off) must be submitted up front
One summer holiday shift is required during the assignment

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent licensed clinical physical therapy experience
Current GA State Board of Physical Therapy license required if applicable
Active BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and other government regulations is preferred
