Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring L&D and postpartum experience with night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit with 14 LDRP beds and 2 operating rooms
• Mixed patient population requiring labor, delivery, postpartum, and surgical care
• Typical procedures include versions, cesarean sections, vaginal assisted deliveries, and D&Cs
• Patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines with 1:1–1:2 for L&D and 3:1 for postpartum
• Uses Beacon equipment and CPN/Meditech EMR systems
• Scheduled for 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Supportive multidisciplinary team with day and night shift coverage
• Flexible and adaptable team members preferred
• Access to updated equipment and technology in the unit
• Unit policies and guidelines will be provided during orientation
• Scrub requirements provided upon hire
• No drama and a professional attitude are expected at all times

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with recent labor and delivery and postpartum experience
• American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
