Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac ICU position requiring BLS and ACLS (AHA) certification and at least 2 years of ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a 20-bed Cardiac ICU
• Hospital setting with cardiac intensive care patients
• Shift is 07:00-19:30, every other weekend required
• Uses Cerner as the EMR system
• 13-week assignment duration
• Every other weekend coverage is mandatory
• No COVID-19 vaccination requirement as of July 1, 2023
• Local candidates within facility radius may be accepted at a reduced rate
• Teamwork focused environment with opportunities to discuss contract extensions with your manager
• All positions are offered on an auto-offer basis

Requirements

• Active RN license with current verification through Nursys
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• NIH Certification required (Group A updated yearly, Group B-F updated every 2 years)
• CPI or MOAB De-escalation Course with Managing Physical Confrontations (8 hours) required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US address (no international addresses accepted)
• Primary source license verification and Nursys check within 30 days prior to start
