Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a PET Technologist with NM and CT certification to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using state-of-the-art equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a PET/CT imaging department in a new facility
• Monday to Friday day shifts from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Patient population includes those requiring PET/CT imaging for disease diagnosis and treatment
• Utilizes state-of-the-art imaging equipment
• Perform a variety of technical procedures applying radionuclides for disease diagnosis and treatment
• Perform venipuncture and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to protocol
• Identify and prepare patients for procedures while ensuring proper positioning
• Process images to ensure high diagnostic quality
• Adhere to departmental, hospital, and service excellence policies and standards
• Opportunities for continuing education and in-service training
• Maintain a professional image and deliver excellent customer service to patients and staff

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of PET technologist experience
• Current ARRT or NMTCB certification required
• NM (Nuclear Medicine) and CT (Computed Tomography) certifications required
• License required if applicable
• Copy of license or certificate and state-specific registry verification required
