Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Neuro Trauma ICU position requiring experience with comprehensive stroke care and AHA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 20-bed Neuro Trauma ICU with Comprehensive Stroke Certification
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• Cares for neurological critical care patients
• 13-week contract assignment
• All travelers are required to supply two separate references and a copy of a Driver’s License
• Local candidates are accepted but paid at a reduced local rate per the facility’s radius rule
• Applicants may only apply to one position system-wide at a time
• COVID-19 vaccination is no longer required
• Assignment may be extended with manager approval initiated 45 days before the end date

Requirements

• Active RN license with Nursys verification completed within 30 days prior to start
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Certification, updated per Group A or B-F guidelines
• MOAB or CPI De-Escalation Course with Managing Physical Confrontations (8 hours) required
• Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
