Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor and Delivery unit with AHA certifications and perinatal experience required.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital-based Labor and Delivery unit
Unit features 15 labor rooms, 5 triage beds, and 3 operating rooms
May float to postpartum, NICU, or other units as needed
12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30
Uses Cerner EMR and FetaLink fetal monitoring systems
Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients including triage, labor, delivery, and pre/post-operative care
Hospital-laundered green surgical scrubs are provided
COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this role
All positions are auto offer
Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate per facility radius rules, which vary by state

Requirements

Active RN license verified through Nursys with primary source verification completed within 30 days prior to start
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from AHA
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics
Fetal monitoring certification within the past 2 years if not covered on competency exam (AWHONN, Relias, or similar)
MOAB Moderate Risk de-escalation training required
Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
