Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist with expertise in cath lab and Epic EMR for a day shift contract.

Details

• Position located in a hospital cath lab setting
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Patient population includes individuals requiring invasive cardiovascular procedures
• Use of EPIC EMR is required
• No blocked scheduling is allowed
• Call outs exceeding three times in a 13-week period require make-up shifts and may result in contract termination
• Travel pairs are not allowed

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in invasive cardiovascular technology
• Active NYS license required at time of consideration (License required if applicable)
• Certifications must be from AHA or RQI
• Epic EMR experience is required for all candidates
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required (no Canadian SIN accepted)
• Flu vaccination required unless medical exemption is signed by a licensed professional

Additional Information

• Competency testing may be required for certain units, with up to two attempts to pass
• RTO (requests for time off) must be submitted with application
• Candidates living in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties are not eligible
• Travelers may only apply to one position at a time
