Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with RCIS certification and 2+ years of cardiovascular specialty experience for a Days assignment

Details

• Work in the Cath Lab performing invasive cardiology, noninvasive cardiology, and peripheral vascular study procedures
• 13-week travel assignment with day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call commitment includes one weeknight per week and one weekend per month
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Minimum of an Associate Degree, graduate of an approved Cardiovascular Training Program, or graduate of an accredited Allied Health Program
• RCIS certification required
• At least 2 years of recent experience in the cardiovascular specialty required
• Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required from AHA or RQI
• Epic EMR experience required
• License required if applicable
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic examinations at the direction of an Interventional Cardiologist, collecting subjective data to support accurate anatomical and physiological diagnoses
• Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius are not eligible, including those living in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington counties
• Only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted for flu vaccination; personal or religious declinations are not accepted
• More than 3 call-outs within the 13-week assignment may result in contract termination, with required make-up shifts completed within 6 weeks
• Requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
