Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Medical/Surgical ICU assignment requiring an active MA RN license and EPIC charting experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Medical/Surgical ICU of a hospital setting
• Unit specializes in medical and surgical critical care patients
• Assignment is 13 weeks in duration
• Every other weekend (EOW) shifts required
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Timekeeping managed through UKG/Kronos
• Public transportation or paid parking is available; no validated parking provided
• Provide critical care nursing to a diverse Med/Surg ICU patient population
• Must note all requested time off (RTO) at the time of consideration
• Local candidates within 60 miles of central Boston are eligible at a reduced rate
• No former employees who have worked within the system in the past 12 months are eligible
• Parking in Boston locations will be at the candidate's expense

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered MA RN license required at time of consideration; conditional or pending licenses not accepted
• Certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Primary source verification for professional license is required
• Proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination series and current flu vaccination required; no exemptions allowed
• Two professional references required
