Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of CT and Level 1 trauma experience, requiring current MA CT license and ARRT (CT) certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital radiology department operating CT scanners during day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Level 1 trauma center with Siemens CT scanner experience required
- Patient population includes those in acute and trauma settings
- Floats among radiology clinics and divisions as needed
- EPIC charting system is used
- Perform diagnostic CT imaging, including patient preparation and positioning according to protocol
- Perform venipuncture for contrast administration under radiologist direction
- Float within department and offsite clinics as required
- Responsible for equipment calibration, maintenance notifications, and supply room stocking
- Execute paperwork and Radiology Information System workflow for each patient exam
- Supervise or instruct technologist students as needed
- Participate in research, quality assurance, and improvement initiatives
- Must be flexible with on-call and shift coverage as needed
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccination required; no exemptions allowed
- Proof of MA licensure required prior to consideration; MA conditional licenses not accepted
- Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility
- Parking is not validated; public transportation and paid parking are options
- Scrub or professional attire required
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Active Massachusetts CT license and ARRT (CT) certification required
- 2-3 years of CT technologist experience preferred, with at least one year of cross-sectional anatomy courses
- BLS certification from AHA required
- Siemens CT scanner experience required
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills for patient care and imaging protocols
- License required if applicable
