Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment requiring current MA license and ARRT certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based mammography department
- Primary responsibilities include conducting mammogram imaging in the radiology mammography unit
- Flexible combination of Saturday/Sunday 7am-3:30pm and Monday/Tuesday 7am-7:30pm shifts
- Uses EPIC for charting and documentation
- Assignment length is 13 weeks
- Two professional references required for consideration
- RTO (requested time off) must be provided at the time of consideration
- No validated parking; public transportation and parking lots are available with daily rates
- Use of UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
- Local candidates must have permanent residence at least 60 miles from facility to qualify for travel rate
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts mammography license required—no conditional licenses accepted
- Current ARRT certification required
- BLS certification from AHA required
- Previous experience in mammography preferred
- Flu and COVID-19 vaccination required with no exemptions allowed
- Proof of MA licensure required at time of consideration
- License required if applicable
