Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1.5 years of experience and active state licensure for a Home Health position.

Responsibilities

• This is a home health setting serving all age groups
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Uses Epic for electronic medical records
• Responsibilities include providing home health physical therapy care to a diverse patient population
• Must be able to work 2 of 3 winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
• Only 1 day off may be requested between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and between 12/23/25-1/2/26
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Epic EMR experience is preferred but not required
• Returning employees may be subject to review based on recent employment history

Requirements

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent physical therapy experience
• BLS certification required
• Active Iowa physical therapy license required if applicable
• Experience with all age groups preferred
• Home health experience is a plus
• Must provide a current skills checklist completed within the past year
• One supervisory reference from within the last two years required
