Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a night shift travel assignment in Alaska requiring an active AK RN license and crisis prevention certification.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Emergency Room of a hospital setting
  • Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • 13-week travel contract assignment
  • Care for a wide range of emergency medical cases and patient populations
  • Must provide US Social Security Number and Date of Birth for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
  • Duties include delivering emergency care, triage, and collaborating with ER team
  • Candidates must have all certifications valid for at least 30 days after start date
  • All required documents and complete professional profile must be submitted for consideration

Requirements

  • Active Alaska RN license required
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent ER RN experience
  • At least 1 year of recent specialty experience required for consideration
  • Current AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications required, valid through period of assignment
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required; SAMA, MAB, or equivalent may be accepted per facility policy
  • No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the last 12 months
