Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week post-acute care assignment primarily in a SNF setting, with BLS certification and at least one year of experience required.

Responsibilities

Work primarily in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) with approximately 80% SNF and 20% home health cases
Assignment spans multiple buildings with primary location at St John's and some coverage at St Luke's and Kearney Home Health
Care setting is post-acute with both SNF and home health environments
Flexible schedule: Monday-Friday, with potential for Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Sunday shifts
Eight-hour day shifts
Use of Net Health SNF for SNF documentation and HCHB for home health
Role includes supervising one PTA and working alongside a primary PT for home health cases
Productivity expectations are 80% for SNF and 95% for home health
Therapy supervisor is onsite for support
New graduates are considered for this assignment
No on-call or call back duties are required
Local rates apply within 80 miles or when using provided housing
Day shift dress code is not specified

Requirements

Active PT license required if applicable
Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience
Current BLS certification required
Ability to work in both SNF and home health settings
